Lost access and wallet recovery, reviewed by a solicitor

This field covers cryptocurrency that still exists, so far as the records show, but cannot be reached: lost Bitcoin, lost Ethereum, and other assets inside a wallet, hosted account, or device that no longer opens.

What this service covers

Typical facts include a forgotten password, lost two-factor authentication (2FA), or an exchange lockout on an account that appears to be yours; an incomplete seed phrase or private key record; a wallet that cannot be opened after a lost or broken device; and cryptocurrency sent to the wrong address, or an otherwise mis-sent transfer.

Wallet recovery here means the review of records, devices, and account history, and lawful reconstruction where that is possible. The practice will not ask you to paste a seed phrase or private key into this website, and it will not claim to override a blockchain. A blockchain does not take instructions from solicitors. Institutions, within their powers, sometimes do.

What we will never ask for

  • Your seed phrase or recovery phrase, in full or in part
  • Your private keys or wallet passwords
  • Remote access to your computer or phone through AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or similar software
  • Upfront payment to unlock, release, insure, or verify your assets

A warning about recovery rooms

Anyone who contacts you offering guaranteed wallet access, asks for remote control of your device, or requests a fee in crypto before work begins is committing a known form of secondary fraud. Read our Anti-Scam Notice before engaging anyone.

What to gather before you write

  • The wallet type, platform name, and any account identifiers you hold
  • Transaction hashes and public addresses connected to the assets
  • Exchange correspondence, including lockout or verification messages
  • Approximate dates and the last point at which you had access
  • Any proof of ownership: purchase records, bank references, statements

Do not send seed phrases, private keys, or passwords. A legitimate review begins from records you can share safely.

A locked wallet is a locked house, not a demolished one

If you lose the keys to your house, the house still stands. The question is who holds a lawful route back in: the exchange that hosts the account, the custodian that holds the balance, or the records that can reconstruct what was yours. A solicitor's role is to identify which door exists and to approach it properly. Some doors open. Some were never doors. You will read plainly which is which before you spend anything.
